Exchange Mail Flow - Restrict External Sending
Implemented a customer request to restrict external email sending for all users while allowing specific user's and shared mailboxes to send externally.Setup an allusers distribution list and an externalsendexclusion distribution list for the Exchange Mail Flow rule to reference.Anyone not part of the exclusion group now has their outbound emails blocked to reduce the risk of internal users communicating through unmonitored channels.

Cost Optimised Licensing
A customer contacted me to request help implementing a solution to allow Front of House workers to access a shared shift schedule and they ideally wanted to do this through Teams.I worked closely with the client to discuss to understand their needs. I then researched what options were available and suggested the F1 licence for FoH workers as a cost-effective alternative to the more comprehensive 365 licences office workers would typically be assigned.The customer agreed to this solution and I set up the user accounts for the FoH staff, added them to the Shifts app within Teams which allowed the customer to more effectively and securely schedule shifts in with their employees.

Purview - DLP and Sensitivity Label Policies
Implemented a customer request to setup DLP mail tips as well as implementing Public, Internal and Confidential label types for internal staff to use to mitigate the risk of leaked financial information following an incident.
Setup DLP alerts direct to the director's inbox where a violation was more likely and setup auditing via an alerts page for other, less likely DLP violations.
